SwiftSource, LLC ("we," "us," "our") respects your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights — in plain language.

The Short Version

  • FocusSensei app: Your data stays on your device. We don't collect it.
  • Website: We use privacy-focused analytics and only collect your email if you give it to us.
  • We never sell your data. Ever.

FocusSensei App

Data Stored on Your Device

FocusSensei stores your focus sessions, tasks, plans, and progress data locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never leaves your device unless you enable iCloud Sync.

iCloud Sync (Optional, Pro Feature)

If you enable iCloud Sync, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We cannot access this data — it's encrypted and stored by Apple on your behalf.

Calendar & Reminders Integration

FocusSensei can integrate with your Calendar and Reminders apps to help you plan. When you grant permission, the app reads and writes data using Apple's EventKit APIs. This data stays between your device and Apple — we never see it.

No Tracking or Analytics in the App

We do not include any third-party analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or advertising frameworks in FocusSensei. We don't know how often you use the app, which features you use, or anything else about your behavior.

Age Requirement

FocusSensei is designed for users aged 13 and older, in compliance with Apple's App Store guidelines.

Analytics

We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that doesn't use cookies or collect personal data. We see aggregate statistics (page views, referrers, countries) but cannot identify individual visitors.

Newsletter Signup

If you sign up for our newsletter, we collect your email address. We use this only to send you updates about SwiftSource and our apps. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Contact Form

When you submit our contact form, we collect your name, email, and message. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and retain it for up to 2 years.

No Cookies (Mostly)

We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookies we might set are essential ones for site functionality (like remembering your dark mode preference).

Third-Party Services

  • Apple: App Store distribution, iCloud sync, and app services.
  • Vercel: Website hosting.
  • Plausible: Privacy-focused website analytics.
  • Resend: Transactional email delivery.

Data Retention

  • App data: Stored on your device until you delete the app.
  • iCloud data: Stored in your iCloud account until you delete it.
  • Newsletter: Until you unsubscribe.
  • Contact form submissions: Up to 2 years.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request deletion of your data.
  • Unsubscribe from marketing communications.
  • Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
