These terms govern your use of FocusSensei and the SwiftSource website. By using our products, you agree to these terms.
The Basics
- You must be at least 13 years old to use FocusSensei.
- Don't use our products for anything illegal or harmful.
- We provide FocusSensei "as is" — it's a productivity tool, not professional advice.
Using FocusSensei
Free Tier
FocusSensei's free tier includes the focus timer and basic task management. We provide this free of charge, indefinitely.
Pro Subscription
FocusSensei Pro unlocks additional features including progress insights, iCloud sync, and upcoming AI features. Pricing:
- Monthly: $2.99/month
- Annual: $29.99/year (save 16%)
Free Trial
New users get a 14-day free trial of Pro features. No payment information is required to start the trial.
Ad-Supported Access
After your trial ends, you can watch a short video advertisement once per day to unlock Pro features for 24 hours. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue this option at any time.
Billing & Cancellation
Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and subject to Apple's terms. Subscriptions auto-renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage your subscription in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Family Sharing
FocusSensei Pro supports Apple Family Sharing. One subscription can be shared with up to 6 family members at no additional cost.
Your Content
You own all data you create in FocusSensei (tasks, plans, sessions, etc.). We don't claim any rights to your content. Your data is stored on your device and/or your personal iCloud account — we cannot access it.
What FocusSensei Is Not
FocusSensei is a productivity tool designed to help you focus and organize tasks. It is not:
- Medical or psychological treatment
- A substitute for professional advice
- A diagnostic tool for ADHD or other conditions
If you're struggling with focus or productivity due to a medical condition, please consult a qualified professional.
Service Availability
We strive to keep FocusSensei available, but we don't guarantee 100% uptime. The app may be unavailable during maintenance, updates, or due to circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
FocusSensei is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwiftSource is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or via email if you've subscribed to updates. Continued use of FocusSensei after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Forsyth County, Georgia.
Dispute Resolution
Before filing any legal action, you agree to attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting us at admin@swiftsource.io. We'll try to resolve the issue within 30 days.
You agree to resolve disputes with SwiftSource on an individual basis and waive the right to participate in class actions or class arbitrations.
